Hello Year Three!

I hope all of you are well! You are greatly missed. Everyday, I think of you and say a prayer for you.

During this strange and uncertain time, please continue to look back at this web page for regular updates. Each week, I will upload a new timetable of activities for you to complete.

So far, I have really enjoyed sharing the opening chapters of Danny Wallace's excellent book, 'Hamish and the Worldstoppers' with you. I will continue to read an extract of this book each day and post the video onto this page for your enjoyment.

Each of the Writing activities set will correspond with the text extract shared on that day.

On my timetable, there are links to various websites. Each of the websites is currently free to access due to present circumstances. However, if you have any difficulty accessing any of the resources,  please do let me know.

Alongside daily Writing and Mathematics tasks, I have been uploading an online (video) R.E. or Science lesson for you to take part in. These have been a lot of fun to create and I hope they help! If you need any help or if you would like to share any of the work you have produced, please feel free to message me.

My e-mail address is: year3@stalbanrc.bham.sch.uk.

I really hope we will see each other again very soon! Please stay safe and look after your families.

Kindest regards,

Mr Sorroll

Come Live in Us

This hymn is dedicated to all those children who would have normally been preparing to receive Holy Communion for the first time and are now waiting in hopeful anticipation for this next step of faith.

We pray for our Year 3 children at St Alban's who were due to make their First Holy Communion on Sunday 7th June 2020. We thank Jesus for the gift of extra time to get to know him better and strengthen our relationship with God.

A Message From Us to You
